I was there last Wednesday. When I asked for the bill, I presented the 食為天card. The waiter told me that they do not accept the card anymore and I have to have the e-coupon. They want to make it more difficult to give the 10% off. I searched the www.MetroAsianFood.com website and did not find any e-coupon.

以前係香港，最鍾意就係去食港式鐵板西餐，鐘情佢地用牛樣所盛住既一份餐。
今日中午去九龍冰室食lunch,貪得意叫左個鐵板牛柳黎食，以$9.99USD黎講一個鐵板，算中價(以唐人餐館計)，當中有一塊牛，大過手掌少少，有6-7舊薯角，叫左黑椒汁做配汁。

黑椒汁個味道唔錯，牛亦醃得夠入味，好柔軟，但感覺有少少似用鬆肉粉去整鬆咁，原本叫7成熟，但諗諗下佢地會用鐵板上，會再熟d，所以最後要左5成熟，黎到時切開，就剛剛好有7成熟既食味，所以大家落order時一定要留意。

因為我地係叫唔跟餐既，所以只有一個鐵板，其實如果跟餐既話就要加多少少錢，$13.99就有個Combo餐，跟餐湯、Garlic Bread同埋Coffee or Tea，個人認為，如果係女仔既話，唔跟餐都夠食，但男仕既就就跟個Combo會好d啦！

今次試食唔錯，下次會再叫其他鐵板餐。記得每個鐵板餐價錢都唔一樣架，order前睇清楚，另外有食為天card有折，我唔見左張card，無discount，如果你地有既話就記得拎埋去啦！

Reminds me of HK, but I guess memories are always better than the real thing

I'm
reading the Paradox of Choice, and If you thought McDonald's had a lot
of options, you will have nightmares about this place.

Choice
overall, is a good thing, but when you given 34 different types of
appetizers to choose from, that's a bit overwhelming. I wasn't timing
it, but I think we spent 20 minutes talking about what we wanted to
get. We finally decided on:

Curry Fish balls - a HK street
vendor classic, this place does a decent job of replicating the curry
flavor in the sauce, but the fish balls weren't as plump and juicy as
the ones in HK

Beef Tripe HK style - This one is common in NYC,
and its on par, tender,  but I guess I like the stomach (which they
don't have, and I mistaken this for) better. More meat.

Salt and
Pepper Chicken Wings - Easily my favorite dish, you can't go wrong with
frying dark meat and adding the right amount of seasoning, although
only 6 wings, I wish they had more than that per plate

Special
Fried Instant Noodles - as quantity goes, this is the best dish.
Instant noodles but fried instead of boiled, tasted perfect with tiny
strips of ham and green pepper

Hammer Wings - This is a
partially de-boned  wing, with a little aluminum foil wrapping around
the bone and the rest of the meat tied together to form what looks like
a mini drumstick. It was good, but I like the regular wings better

Red bean and grass jelly drink - Its good, but too much ice

taro and green tea ice cream - um, the taro was kind of weak in flavor, and I don't have a strong desire for green tea ice cream

Overall,
the place was nice and clean (including the bathrooms), and the design
is interesting. It does give you a HK Cafe feel to it, and specifically
Kowloon (part of HK) since its not very high-end (like the ones in HK
Island.

I think if they paired down on the menu, which sounds
crazy, but I was really overwhelmed by the menu. I didn't even dare to
try a lot of the western style dishes fearing that they wouldn't be as
good as from a western restaurant. But I won't know, unless I go
back...

大家或者會對唐芥蘭已經好熟悉，，，，但當大家對著大棵的唐芥蘭都頭痛，點先煮得好食！！！
我就向大家推薦九龍冰室既-------蒜蓉唐芥蘭。當大家題住menu各種各樣美食時都會將他遺忘。。。但距實在太吸引我啦，，因為我好中意食蔬菜，，蔬菜健康又減肥。呢度d蒜蓉唐芥蘭一上菜就比距綠色的外表吸引住，，再隨之而來的蒜蓉味，，，，，就係會令你忍5住手。呢度d蒜蓉唐芥蘭炒得火候甘甘好，，，食落去，，就會食得蔬菜特有的甜味。。真係一絕。特別當你食完其他油淋淋既美食之後，呢味送簡直是為你而創，因為距會幫你將剛才油琳琳的脂肪都消化曬。如果你係健康飲食者，不妨試下，你就會感受到乜也係健康美食。而且價錢又合理有大少之分，一小碟隻係4蚊，真係抵到飛起啦。。。
總之一個字講曬，，，，正啊！！！！！！！！

Awww!!! I just wrote about this restaurant yesterday telling people I had a okay experience.  I was thinking I should give it one more try tonight but I was very disappointed.

I ordered a baked pork chop over rice and black pepper beef over rice.
I have to say their baked pork chop over rice is a waste of food.  I understand that it was a take out and I know it will get saggy by the time you got home.  What I didn't like was the breading on the porkchop was as thick as the porkchop it self.  I felt like I was eat bread crumb with rice.  Don't even mention the fried rice was too dry.

The black pepper beef over rice was passable.  Beef is tender and didnt taste too much of baking soda.  The black pepper sauce was thick and full of favor.

When this restaurant first open, I didn't hear much good news about it. 

After a year or so, I realzied other people changed their view on it.  They started to say 九龍冰室 improved.  I finally made my move and give it a try.

I ordered the bubble tea, mix grill over rice.

The taste of the bubble tea is passable but I didn't find much bubble.  The whole point of a bubble tea is to drink and chew at the same time.  But I couldn't hardly taste much of it.

The sauce on mix grill taste pretty HK style.  They mixed the sauce very well unlike some restaurant just pour tomato sauce over it.  They have pork chop, chicken, hot dog and an egg. 

I like about 九龍冰室  is the selection of their menu. They have a huge selection of HK style and Chinese style food and drinks.

九龍冰室係我係紐約搵到其中一間真係算港式的茶餐廳, 雖然比其他餐廳價錢係貴少少同份量少d, 不過味道係唔錯, 所以都會去~

特別推薦佢的焗飯及焗意粉, 菠蘿冰, 碗仔翅, 港式奶茶... perfect~

位於86街kowloon cafe都真係唔錯, 上一年summer先開始試下. so far咁耐都保持水準. 炒飯/麵/粉有d鍋氣,夠大碟, 如果女仔一個食唔哂.
焗飯係本人推介, 夠熱, 唔似係整好哂,放d cheese向面然後焗一焗扼你咁
湯面都一般,湯底唔得, D雲吞唔夠新鮮
drinks 調較唔錯, 唔會太sweet或者無乜味
parking 好難, 因為周圍都係restuarant.
價錢比起其他同類restuarant貴少少

九龍，的卻是個周末Brunch的好去處。 選擇多，味道好，服務好， 價格大眾化！

食物挺好的。特別是那Baked Portuguese Chicken Rice 和港式奶茶。
Baked Portuguese Chicken Rice comes with a very special sauce and it was so tasty!

此外，服務員也很和藹可親。服務還蠻不錯。Keep up the good spirit!
